Getting Involved

Members become involved in the life of the club in different ways: racing, sailing, learning, teaching, maintenance, and catering.

About WiSH

We are a new club, but with a long heritage encompassing both Wigan and St Helens. We are based at Scotman's Flash in Wigan and are part of a community who use and value this resource.

Next Steps

If you are already a sailor and are looking for a new club, or someone who is keen to learn, or even perhaps someone who would like to experience sailing before committing, then please get in contact.  We will be delighted to hear from you.

Safeguarding

It is the policy of Wigan & St Helens Sailing Club to safeguard children and young people taking part in boating from physical, sexual or emotional harm. We will take all reasonable steps to ensure that, through appropriate procedures and training, children and vulnerable adults participating in RYA activities do so in a safe environment.
