Volunteering Opportunities

Hosting this event will only successfully run as a result of members giving of their time and expertise.

We are looking for three areas of volunteer assistance.

1. The working party. This is to prepare the club and the boat park for the event, and then to tidy it all up afterwards. Duties will include some light ground maintenance and moving some boats around to create temporary storage space for our visitors.

2. The Galley Crew. Visiting sailors will be camping at the club on Friday and Saturday evenings. The galley will be open for meals across the weekend, so staffing will rely on a team of volunteers. No specific skills are needed, just a willingness to help and a big smile.

3. General Duties. Being there to help make sure everything runs smoothly. This will include helping in the car park and the launching and recovery of the Challenger boats.
