Getting Started
At WiSH SC we want to encourage as many new sailors as possible and then provide a pathway to become more skilled.

If you have never tried sailing before or have got a bit rusty why not come along to one of our open days or Discover Sailing Days. One of our instructors or experienced members will take you out and show you the ropes.

If you have decided that sailing is for you then the place to look is the Beginners' Course which start each April.

Once you have reached Level Two, or are considered sufficiently competent, then you can join the Free and Easy Sailing which takes place each Wednesday evening.
​
There is always a rescue boat on duty. Some use the evening as an opportunity to practice, whilst others simply enjoy the sailing.
